Daleka Obala is a macro-shot of a continuous multi-faceted visual narrative concerning the terraformation of Mars. This Martian Fever Dream - the hypothetical psychological condition that a person might experience if they were to spend an extended period on Mars - has been represented in past exhibitions "UwU" "Vermillion" and "Lone Long Boy".
Daleka Obala then, further materialises the confrontation between an earthly audience and this sci-fi parallel of unearthly transmutation. More specifically, the artist urges one to imagine being stuck in a tent on a Martian desert, with a caged-up Rat Dog needs to be dissected while listening to a poetic podcast and longing to be back on a beach on planet Earth.
The show is an amalgamation of media consisting of digital painting, sculpture, poetry and video, which constitutes the methodological purpose of the artist in attaining a "post nation with no borders, a queer global village, the abolishment of competitiveness, and peer to peer skill and craft exchange system." As a result, there is an element of resourceful spontaneity and meticulousness within their work; a nerdy (and self-inflicted) complex game of dice that acts as the very means of creation.
