Tea Stražičić participated in the 60th Zagreb Salon of Visual Arts with the project Do Humans Dream of Electric Dogs?, a sculptural and conceptual continuation of her Electric Dogs and Fluff Lord mythologies.

Installed in the historic Oktogon Passage, the exhibition transforms the passageway into construction site of arts. Tea’s work explores themes of care, utility, and emotional programming in synthetic beings, questioning the future of empathy and companionship in a machinic world. Created through a process of digital sculpting, resin prototyping, and hand painting, Tea’s contribution reflects on the “robotization” of pets, how the aesthetics of cuteness, loyalty, and servitude mutate under new utalitarian technological and social pressures and where is the border between two ideologies.

“I’m interested in how artificial bodies project human emotions. The Electric Dogs are containers of care and mirror of societal confusion, loyal yet autonomous, created for comfort but destined for work.”
